HELLO :)
Arrived in Hong Kong in Hong Kong date and time: December 27th 11-ish pm, after a gruesome 22 hour travel time. We were on Eastern China Airlines (reason being, because plane tickets are the cheapest in the amount of time we're given..) After probably 13 hours on the plane, there was a stop over for 6.5 hours in Shanghai and then another 2.5 hours on the plane to Hong Kong. Met up with my dad who was waiting for us at our hotel: Holiday Inn Express.

I'm just sayin... I could probably be the flight attendant of the company if I were to be one, and to work for this airline... I'm just saying that their service sucks. Manners/politeness maybe a 2/10, and they only spoke Mandarin, nothing wrong with it... but if you're working for an airline that travels internationally; you should know at least some of the basics of English. I'm just saying. But the food was good :3
DAY 1:
Started off the day with complimentary breakfast from the hotel, pretty yummy I gotta say :) They give you a 4 sets of breakfasts to choose from (nomnomnomnom) got 3/4 because I went with my sister and my mom (my dad went out early). Went to the bank to finish off some paper work to claim my $6000 HKD, and went to see my grandma (PorPor) and relatives at dim sum. Non-stop eating since we went to Cafe De Coral, shopped a bit and went to my grandma's in Tai Po Tsai to eat birthday cake.
Got to my PorPor's 80th Birthday Banquet/dinner at 7 (we were supposed to be there by 6, and some of my relatives were already there since 4....oops.) at this Chinese restaurant. There were... a lot of people. Most of them are my relatives (distant/close), the distant ones only remembers me as a baby since I left ... when I was a baby. A lot of greetings, introductions and "Yes, I'm Kei Kei"'s.

Food didn't get served until 8ish, kind of late but it was pretty good. The typical Chinese banquet foods: roasted pig, steamed fish, shark fin soup, abalone, noodles, fried rice, veggies etc... The best part was probably the 'sao bao' (steamed bun with lotus paste inside, traditional Chinese birthday food)... you have no idea how happy I get when there are steamed lotus buns. I could eat them all day, every day and not get sick of them LOL <3
The next best part of the night was the end of the dinner. Not that I didn't enjoy it, it's not that. But it was when we (the family) were saying our 'Byes' to our guests, we took a lot of pictures. Not really normal pictures either, just casual photo bombing... and us just being..ourselves. LOL I'll post some pictures up, so you know what I mean.
It is 3:51 am HK time, 11:51 am Vancouver time. I think it's time for me to sleep, going to dimsum tomorrow morning (apparently they got them lotus buns there *excited*) and having dinner at my Grandpa's (YehYeh).
Good night and good afternoon :)
